Cincinnati, February 15, 2024 – Cincinnati Works is delighted to announce the appointment of Vanessa Kurtzer as the organization’s new Director of Development. Vanessa will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program that includes major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, planned giving, and special events.
With a passion for helping people, Vanessa has many years of experience with local non-profits in varying roles. She is also an avid volunteer and is a leader in her community.

Vanessa brings a genuine energy, curiosity, and a service mindset to support Members and employers alike while exceeding growth goals. As Director of Development, Vanessa will also supervise the Development Manager who is responsible for annual fundraising, grant and foundation revenue, young professionals board and fundraising events.
