Since 1996, we have walked alongside individuals who are ready for something more. Whether you are unemployed, under-employed, or simply looking for a better opportunity, we are here to partner with you every step of the way.
Life can present real challenges. Housing insecurity, childcare needs, limited access to technology, lack of training, or even not having the right clothing can feel overwhelming. You do not have to navigate these barriers alone. Our team works with you to identify what is standing in your way and create a plan to remove those barriers one at a time. If you are in crisis, we provide immediate support and then help you build a strong foundation for long term success.
Taking the first step can be life changing. When you walk through our doors, you will find encouragement, accountability, and a community that believes in you. Career & Financial Coaching
Each Cincinnati Works Member receives professional career coaching designed to help make employment easier to find, keep, and succeed at, and financial coaching to help you accomplish the most with the money that you earn. Our career coaches are experienced, compassionate professionals who have helped thousands of your neighbors identify their strengths and goals while honing the skills they need to succeed in the workplace.
Our career coaches will help you:
- Assess your strengths, ambitions & challenges
- Determine your goals and develop a plan with practical steps to reach them
- Connect you with additional services, assess progress, and plan your next steps
Our financial coaches provide a range of financial services to our Members, including:
- Budgeting
- Understanding and building credit
- Resolving debt
- Preparing taxes
- Accessing loans
Employment Connection
In addition to preparing our Members to be excellent additions to any team, Cincinnati Works partners with 100+ regional employers who believe in our mission and know the value of helping people improve their lives.
Members can apply in our office, online, or at job fairs. Our partners and dedicated staffing specialists will work to find positions that will help them reach their goals.

Cincinnati Works provides or directs Members to the support that they need to thrive in their new job. No one succeeds alone, and by providing a robust network of resources, Cincinnati Works helps Members make the most of their opportunities.

Next Generation
Launched in 2024, Cincinnati Works prepares the next generation for success by connecting students to career pathways, coaching, and employer opportunities. Through strong school partnerships and industry collaboration, we help youth transition from classroom learning to meaningful careers.

Training & Skills
Cincinnati Works provides comprehensive support and training to equip Members with the skills they need to secure employment, grow in their careers, and build long-term stability. Our trainings address professional and personal development areas including financial capability, digital literacy, career readiness, and mindset development.
Offerings include:
- Career preparation through JumpStart
- Resume development and mock interviews
- Digital literacy and Microsoft Office skills
- LinkedIn and personal branding workshops
- Financial wellness classes
- Mindset and confidence-building workshops
- Partnering for industry-specific job skills
- Career exploration
Our training model meets Members where they are and provides practical skills they can use immediately and throughout their careers.
Cincinnati Works Members are job seekers who receive coaching, support, and job opportunities with area employer partners.
