For Mujahid Abdulhamid, every step forward has brought him closer to the life he envisioned.
After becoming a Cincinnati Works Member in 2025, Mujahid committed himself to personal and professional growth. He took advantage of every opportunity available, beginning with JumpStart, where he strengthened the skills and confidence needed to pursue his goals.
From there, Mujahid continued his journey by completing Digital Literacy 1, earning a new laptop, and filing his taxes through Cincinnati Works. Each milestone equipped him with practical tools to navigate everyday life while building a stronger foundation for the future.
Outside of the classroom, Mujahid was working just as hard to grow his barbering business. Through dedication, talent, and perseverance, he built a loyal client base while continuing to invest in himself and his future.
That hard work recently led to one of his proudest accomplishments: securing his own apartment.
Mujahid’s story is a reminder that success isn’t defined by one single achievement. It’s the result of consistently taking the next step, even when the journey feels challenging. With determination, the right support, and a community that believes in your potential, those small victories can become life-changing milestones.
